- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 3-4 tablespoons ghee to be added in dough

- 2 tablespoons decisscated coconut
- 1-11/2 tablespoon fennel seeds
- 1/2 tablespoon cardamom powder
- as required Water for kneading dough
Instructions to make Thekua
- Firstly take a large mixing bowl add wheat flour, suji, desiccated coconut, powdered sugar, fennel seeds, cardamom powder, ghee. Mix properly everything for few minutes using both hands.
- Slowly add little water as required and start kneading the dough. Make sure that the dough should be hard. let it rest for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Now make small balls from the dough taking all equal portions. Also heat the ghee in a kadhai.
- And give a shape of chapati with a rolling pin. Should be little thick. Now with the help of a cookie-cutter give shape and make a design over it with the help of fork or spoon, then add into the kadhai. Fry both sides till crispy and brown in colour.
- Same way repeat the process and make with rest dough.
- As it cools down put it in a air tight container.
