- 500 gms Ghee

- 1.5 cup Sugar
- 1 tsp Cardamom powder

- In a big mixing bowl take Chana dal flour (besan), salt. Now add milk little by little and knead a soft dough. Rest it for 15 minutes.
- Now take small portion of dough and roll it by using hands to form like rod shape. Now cut it into small small pieces.
- In a kadai heat Ghee. Now fry this till it becomes golden brown. Now your Shengoli is ready. Allow it to cool.
- Now by using mixer jar or grinder make powder of shengoli.
- Now by adding 2 tbsp ghee, roast this powder for 3-4 minutes on low flame.
- Now prepare sugar syrup.
In a big utensil take sugar and water. Boil it on high flame till sugar gets dissolve completely. Now cook on low flame for 5-6 minutes. Prepare one string consistency sugar syrup. - Now pour roasted shengoli powder into sugar syrup, mix it well. Now cover it and rest it for around 1-2 hours.
