- 1 cup ghee
- 1 cup milk

- Soak mungdaal overnight. Now wash it and remove cover..
- Strain it.and remove excess water. Make a smooth paste.
- Take a thick bottom pan. Add ghee. Add mungdaal paste. Stir well. Keep on stirring the halwa on a low to medium flame untill it become a brown clour.
- Now boil 1 cup milk and 1 cup water. Add saffron.. add this mixture into halwa.. stir continuously otherwise it will stick to the bottom.add sugar..
- The liquid should get absorbed and once again you will see the ghee getting separated.
- Now halwa is ready.add cardamom powder., garnish with badam and pistachio
