  3. 150 gm Khoya /Mawa
  4. 1/2 cup chopped Dates
  5. 1 cup milk (optional)
  6. 2 tbsp sliced Almonds
  7. 2 tbsp chopped sliced Pistachio
  8. 2 tbsp roughly chopped Cashews
  9. 1 tbsp Ghee
  10. 1 tsp Cardamom powder
  11. 1 tbsp sliced mix Dry fruits for garnish

Steps to make Carrot Halwa/Gajar ka Halwa

  1. Firstly take all the ingredients ready to make Carrot Halwa
  2. Now heat the Ghee in a pan, then allow to melt the ghee.
  3. When ghee melted completely then add grated carrot's into it. Mix well with Ghee for 2 mins.
  4. Then cover and cook for 15 mins. In between Stirring occasionally. Carrot's start to release their juice. It should be little crunchy.
  5. After add sugar and mix well till they cooked well. Adjust the flame to medium. Now Cover and cook it well about 3-4 mins. Check in between time until sugar dissolves completely.
  6. While sugar juice is enough, add milk stir well until the Halwa becomes thick or milk evaporated into the halwa.
  7. In another pan add Khoya stir continuously on low flame till they released the ghee and slightly melted. Off the flame. Keep it aside.
  8. Next check the carrot and sugar mixture, it's completely cooked. Then add Khoya and chopped dates mix well till they combine all together.
  9. Further add chopped all dry fruits and cardamom powder mix well on low to medium flame.
  10. Saute for 2-3 mins on medium flame. Now off the flame. Finally Carrot Halwa is ready. garnish with dry fruits. Immediately serve it Or Store it in refrigerator about a week to serve any time.
