  6. 2 tablespoon Desi Ghee/ Clarified butter
  7. 1 tablespoon Milk
  8. 5 chopped almonds for garnishing

Steps to make Apple Almond Halwa

  1. Soak the almonds in lukewarm water for 30 minutes. Remove the skin and grind it into paste with just enough water. Keep it aside.
  2. Remove the skin of the apple, core it and grate it finely. On the actual recipe, she squeezed all the juice from grated apples, but I didn't remove the juices from it.
  3. Heat the ghee in a pan on a low heat, add the grated apple and saute it till the moisture is completely absorbed.
