- Heat a pan,,put desi ghee in it. Now add Besan to it
- Keep on stirring constantly on slow flame till the Besan gets light brown..it should be done properly till the Aroma comes from it.
- On the other side make a chashni of gur and water together
- Sieve This chashni from a cotton cloth.
- Now in the BESAN,add milk slowly to it.
- Keep on stirring continuously
- Now Add water to it.
- Keep on stirring at low flame..so that no lumps should be there
- Now Add elaichi powder,,nuts to it.kesar strands as well.
- It's consistency should be thin,, that's why it is called sheera.
- Turn off the flame
- SHEERA (HALWA) is ready
- Garnish with assorted nuts
