- In a separate pan spread 1 cup sugar and let it melt on slow flame. It will take approx 10-15 min for sugar to melt. Don't try to hurry on this process.
- Stir intermittently once sugar starts to melt.
Once sugar has melted switch off flame. - Now add dry fruits, poppy seeds & cardamom powder.
Mix everything well. - Now Take out mixture on greased plate or rolling board or kitchen counter.
- Using lightly wet hands give a round shape to hot mixture.
- Now Spread dried rose petals over it and lightly press to incorporate.Now Use a greased rolling pin and flatten the chikki as much as possible.
- Make cut marks on chikki using knife or pizza cutter while it is still hot.
Allow chikki to cool down for 25 to 30 min. - When chikkis will cool enough then separate in to pieces.
