Today I made this Gajar Halwa using ingredients easily available at home. Mouthwatering and very tasty.
Ingredients and spices that need to be Prepare to make Gajar (Carrot) Halwa:
- 300 gm carrot (gajar) grated
- 100 gm grated khoya (mawa)
- 3 tbsp condensed milk
- 1 tbsp chopped almond and cashews
- 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
- 2 tbsp deshi ghee
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp chopped pista for garnish
Steps to make Gajar (Carrot) Halwa
- In a heavy bottom pan heat the ghee in low medium heat. Fry the nuts and then the grated mawa.
- Add grated carrot and a pinch of salt and cook for 5 minutes to get soften gajar.
- Now mix condensed milk and cook till moisture dries up. Cool and mix cardamom powder. Garnish with chopped pista.
- Yummy and mouthwatering gajer halwa is ready to serve.
