  7. When the milk has 75% add sugar and dry fruits to the mixture.
  8. Stir well and continue to simmer and cook on a low flame.
  9. Do keep on stirring the halwa in between.
  10. Simmer the halwa till all the milk is evaporated. Switch off the burner.
  11. Garnish with some chopped almonds and serve hot gajar ka halwa.
