  1. Preheat oven @160°c. Grease and line, 2 medium loaf tins or 7 inch round cake tin.
  2. Sieve flour, cardamom powder, baking soda and baking powder.
  3. Beat ghee with jaggery powder until fluffy.
  4. Add milk powder to the ghee mixture and beat again for few seconds.
  5. Add in the milk (not all at once) only half at first.
  6. Add the flour mixture to the wet mixture in 2-3 portions and mix by cutting and folding.
  7. Add rest of the milk only if required. Once everything looks combined pour in the prepared tins and bake.
  8. Check by inserting a skewer or toothpick in the centre, If it comes out clean the cake is done.
  9. Cool on wire rack. Slice and serve
