- Heat a pan and add melted ghee
- Once ghee is hot add gehu ka aata/ wheat flour. Keep the flame low
- Mix ghee and aata on low flame. Keep mixing otherwise aata can burn
- To it add half of chopped almonds and Elaichi/ Cardamom powder. Mix well
- After 10 minutes there will be aromat smell of the mixture which means mixture is cooked. Once mixture is cooked turn off the flame and let the mixture cool for 5 minutes
- After 5 minutes, the mixture will not be extremely hot. To that add Jaggery/ Gur and mix well. Remember the flame is still off
- Grease a plate with ghee and transfer the mixture on plate
- Spread the mixture evenly on plate and garnish it with remaining chopped almonds. Press the almonds gently.
- After 5 minutes, gently make even cuts in the plate of barfi size.
- Barfi will take around half hour to set. After 30 minutes take the barfi out in serving plate. Barfi is ready to serve.. ENJOY!!!!
