- 120 gm Mava/khoya/milk solid

- Once done, add the gram flour and keep stirring constantly to get a lump free mixture
- Add sugar once you see no lumps
- The mixture will start to turn liquidy as the sugar mix
- Keep stirring constantly as the mixture comes together(this could take a while)
- Once you see no bubbles in the mixture,take the pan off heat
- Add the cardamom powder and half the nuts
- Mix well and layer the mixture well in the greased tray
- Sprinkle the remaining nuts on the surface and gently press down with a spatula
- While not hot, but slightly warm, cut into barfi pieces and allow to cool completely
- Besan Mava barfi are ready to be relished!
- Store the leftovers airtight and refrigerated
