- Heat 1/4 cup water and sugar in another pan on low flame.
- Stir well till the sugar dissolved. Continue to cook the sugar syrup till you get 2 thread consistency.
- Now add besan to it. Mix well. Add cardamom powder, finely chopped cashews. Switch off the gas. Mix it well. Pour this mixture into the greased tray or plate.
- Sprinkle finely chopped almonds on top. Cut besan burfi into square. Store it in air tight container.
