  11. 1/2 tsp eatable colour

Instructions to make Jalebi

  1. Mix maida, corn flour and baking soda in a bowl. Now, add ghee and orange food colour. To make a thick batter, add curd and water. Mix well until it is thick. Keep it aside for 6 hours.
  2. Heat water in a pan & add sugar and mix until it dissolved. Now add cardamom powder and Stir well.
  3. Now heat oil in a pan & fill the jalebi batter in a muslin cloth and pierce a small hole in the cloth. Squeeze the muslin cloth to make concentric circles. Move from inside to outside to make perfect circles. Fry till jalebis are crisp and golden.
  4. Put the jalebis in sugar syrup for 2-3 minutes. Now take them out from the syrup and place on and serve them hot.
