- as required ghee or oil for deep frying
- 6-8 Pistashio Finely chopped and silver paper for garnish
Instructions to make Jalebi
- Make the batter:
In a bowl add plain flour or maida and the gram flour or besan and mix well.
Put in the yogurt, melted ghee, lime juice and water. Ready our batter. Now keep it for 20-22 hour for fermentation,then pour it into piping bottle. - Now make sugar syrup.add sugar and water boil it or melt it till it's become single String.(1tar wali)
- Heat ghee into pan or kadhai, then make round, spiral shape structure of batter through Saucer like this and deep fry it.till it's golden brown colour.
- After the deep-fried jalebi soak this into the sugar syrup for 5-10 mins.Make all the jalebi like this.
- Garnish it with the pistachio and silver paper(chandi ka warq). Serve it hot with poha in Madhyapredesh..here I serve this with rabri.
