- 1 cup Grated coconut,1cup Orange juice,3/4 cup sugar,Orange Zest,orange colour,Mawa or Khoya,milk powder(optional)Dry fruits
Steps to make Colourful Orange Barfi
- In a pan add 1teaspoon of ghee & 1 cup of grated coconut.Dry roast for a while,then add 1cup of orange juice.Cook on medium flame.
- Now add a teaspoon of orange zest 3tbspoon of mawa or khoya.Mix well & add 3/4 cup of sugar or as required depending upon the sweetness of orange juice.Now goes in orange colour.
- Now add 2/3 tbspoon of milk powder(optional).Cook the mixture for 5-10mins or till it become little dry & form a soft dough like ball.Spread it on a greased tray & garnish with choice of dry fruits to make it colourful & cut into square pieces.
