- 1/2 kg Bottle gourd
- 2 cups Milk
- 1 + 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup Ghee
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- 1 cup khoya
- 1 cup nuts
- Sugar garnishing optional
Instructions to make Lauki ka halwa
- First wash and peel bottle gourd
- Then shred all bottle gourd now take milk and sugar and ghee, sugar and cardamom powder alsoset aside
- Now in a pan heat the milk. When milk come to boil add all shredded bottle gourd and cook on a slow flame then when milk comes to disappear then add sugar and cook again
- When sugar completely dissolve and water disappear add ghee into it and bhoonofy till ghee separates from the halwa
- Then in end add khoya and half of nut mix for 1 minute on slow flame. Now in end serve with nut khoya and sugar garnishing.
