  2. 150 gms khoya
  3. 250 gms sugar
  4. 1 tsp cardamom powder
  5. 1 tsp rose water
  6. 1 tsp clarified butter

Steps to make Bottle gourd halwa

  1. Peel bottle gourd and grate and put into water
  2. Boil water in deep pan add grated bottle gourd(before adding strain water) and give one boil, transfer immediately to strainer. Remove excess water by squeezing bottle gourd.
  3. Heat thick bottom pan add khoya and roast till it leaves pan and keep aside.
  4. In same pan add bottle gourd and sugar mix and stir occasionally on medium flame till water evaporate.(Take ½ tsp mixture make ball if done then proceed another step, if not then stir for more 2-3 minutes)
  5. Now add khoya, cardamom powder, rose water and clarified butter stir constantly for 5 minutes and transfer to greased plate. Cool completely and cut into desired shape.
