- 1 cup Atta
- 1 cup Pure ghee

- 2-3 tbsp pistachios chopped

Instructions to make Halwa
- Add sugar to the water and set in a pot to boil on medium flame
- Melt ghee and add atta to it. Roast on low flame till it turns brown. Continue stirring flour and ghee mixture while sugar boils to make light syrup.
- As you will keep stirring it on low flame, colour of flour will keep getting darker
- I like nice brown colour of halwa so I roast the flour for good 15-20 min on low flame
- Roughly chop the nuts of your choice
- ADD nuts to the flour being roasted
- Keep roasting fr another 2-3 minutes
- Now carefully add the boiled sugar syrup. Bubbles will rise so be careful and flame should be high. Keep stirring to avoid making of lumps
- Halwa will take form of a lump and ghee will leave the sides of the pan
- Hot halwa is ready to relish. Can garnish with more nuts.
