- 2 tsp Almonds soaked and chopped
- 2 tsp Pistachio soaked and chopped
- 1/2 cup Mawa
Steps to make Moong Dal HALWA
- Wash and soak moong dal for 4hours
- Strain it and grind in the mixer
- Heat pure ghee in a wok and add ground dal to it
- Roast dal on low flame till it changes its colour to brown and aroma comes
- It will take around 45 minutes at low flame
- On the other side mix sugar and water (milk)heat till sugar melts
- Add this sugar syrup in to the roasted dal,,
- Stir it slowly
- Now add cardamom powder and half of the dry fruits to it..mix it well.
- Now add Mawa to it.
- Stir it till the consistency becomes thicken like Halwa
- Garnish with dry fruits and serve hot.
