- 2 Cups Milk
- 1/2-1 tsp Cardamom Powder (Freshly Ground)

- A few Kesar/Saffron Strands
Instructions to make Bread-Kesari Halwa
- Heat a frying pan over the medium flame- dry roast the nuts until lightly golden brown, then set aside once done
- Make small pieces of the bread slices & add in the to the same pan & roast/toast the sliced breads until golden, evenly from all its sides
- Add in the milk & sugar in a pot & pour it now, to the frying pan & cook until the breads turn soft, mushy & gooey
- This mixture needs to thicken absolutely though, initially itβthe be a bit gooey
- Add in the Cardamom Powder & Ghee & mix everything together until well incorporated
- When the mixture starts leaving the sides of the pan- add in the roasted nuts & continue cooking for another couple more mins time
- Itβll be seen that the Halwa has started releasing the ghee at this point...turn off the flame & transfer it to the serving dish
